As of November 2013, I am now certified MLD/C after completing a 40 hour course on Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder Technique).
Manual Lymph Drainage(MLD) is a gentle manual treatment that accelerates the natural drainage of excess lymph from our tissues.
The Lymphatic System is responsible for defending the body against disease by cleansing, detoxifying and nourishing the body's tissues.
If the lymph system becomes blocked, toxins and plasma may accumulate, causing swelling, consequently, interfering with cell nourishment which can depress the immune system.
Manual Lymph Drainage can speed up the healing process by reducing the bruising & swelling caused from injury and/or surgery.
